Collier County accepts a written Affidavit of Defense under Florida Rule of Traffic Court 6.340. Post a bond equal to the civil penalty plus clerk fees with the sworn, notarized affidavit. Delivery to the Traffic Division must be at least 5 business days before the scheduled hearing date. Photos, diagrams, and witness statements may be attached.
